There is a loud roar of protest over the government providing a public option alternative to health care insurance.
Part of this protest is over the non-existent (and never was -- go to www.factcheck.org) "Death Board" inclusion in the proposed bill. Another part is that everything the government runs is FUBAR'd in short order.
The solution is for the government to:
1) Establish the minimum policy of what/how is covered.
2) Establish a fixed price for the minimum policy. The government is already doing this type of thing. Look at medicare reimbursement.
